AMERICAN HISTORY

My tribute to the resilience of the American Buffalo. As he passed by, he stopped in mid stride, turned my way as if to say," this is my my world and I will protect it."

DUSTY QUEST

The wind and dust didn't stop this cowboy from doing what he needed to do and he created some magical moments in the dust along the way.

LIFE REFLECTS

He was so amazing as he walked along with very deliberate steps. Picking his hooves up as if he were marching and his head low, deep in thought. His calm strength will draw you into this three image montage creating a place for you to escape to.

"Photography is the art of freezing time with the ability to store emotion and feelings within the frame.”

"Many times, as folks come through a gallery that carries pieces of my work entwined with other artists’ creations, or walk by my space at a show, whether they stop in their tracks or turn around and come back before they get too far, they get that sensation that there is a story behind my image that caught their eye and they want to know the who, what, when, where and most of all, why they are so drawn to it. I enjoy sharing it's story. How it came about and what it felt like the moment I clicked the shutter or finished creating the montage. It is an honor that they are interested in the passion behind a piece of photographic art that I created with my heart and are willing to invest their time to find out more. Those are the magical moments. When they carry that feeling home and hang it on their wall. Admiring the details, let their minds wander in to the image, and feeling the emotions they felt the first time they saw it every time they enter the room where it hangs. People are drawn to my work because it takes them from where they are to where they want to be."
